Royse City Independent School District trustees recognized four students whose artwork was selected for the district's 2024–2025 birthday cards: Bria Bergmann, Briley Huttel, Elina Schlabach and Kinley Smith. The recognition took place during the open session of the Nov. 11 board meeting at the Royse City ISD Event Center.
Principal Dave Christensen introduced himself alongside Assistant Principals Christie Barrick and Kelly Merriott and presented a video of Vernon Elementary's campus highlights. The presentation summarized recent campus activities and learning opportunities and served as the night's campus spotlight. The district also announced upcoming events tied to campus life, including the RCHS Junior Ring Ceremony on Nov. 21.
