Valley High's Ariel Chavez honored as January inspirational student

Ariel accepted the recognition and described the support she received from staff and family during difficult times, saying the school community helped her graduate early. The board presented plaques and certificates, including recognition from a county supervisor and a state assembly member. "Thank you from the bottom of my heart," Ariel said, reflecting on the supports that helped her succeed.
