Heritage Pines CDD adopts tentative FY2026 O&M budget, sets July 15 public hearing

The Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution 2025-03 on April 15, 2025, approving a proposed Operation and Maintenance (O&M) budget for fiscal year 2025/2026 and setting a public hearing for July 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Heritage Pines Country Club Meeting Room. District Manager Chuck Adams told the board the proposed FY2026 budget is "similar to the Fiscal Year 2025 budget" but reflected net reductions that result in about a $4,000 decrease in appropriations year-over-year.
Adams reviewed line-item adjustments and said the net effect will lower the O&M assessment by approximately $2.88 per unit compared with FY2025. On motion by Vice Chair Arthur Rhodes and seconded by Assistant Secretary Carol Vaughan, the board voted unanimously to adopt the resolution and set the required public hearing pursuant to Florida law. The resolution was recorded as Resolution 2025-03; the board will revisit final adoption at the July 15 hearing if adjustments or public input require changes.
