Fifth-graders ask Central A&M board for sidewalk at Gregory; superintendent to research cost

Fifth-grade students Madalynn Sanders, Jace Canaday, Izzy Wright and Dalis Ashburn presented a PowerPoint to the Central A&M board arguing for construction of a sidewalk to the outdoor basketball court at Gregory Intermediate.
The students showed pictures and outlined reasons why the sidewalk is needed. Superintendent Sacha Young said she intends to look into the cost of the proposed sidewalk and to investigate possible funding sources as part of building-and-grounds follow-up. There was no board motion tied to the student presentation during the meeting.
