Student Council Sponsor Jessica Uftring and several students presented a Student Council update at the March 12 meeting, describing a council of approximately 45–50 seventh through eleventh graders who coordinate dances, assemblies, spirit days, fundraising, and community service projects such as Socktober and Boo Bash.
Mrs. Blundy read the district mission earlier in the meeting, which the minutes record as: "the mission of Central School Dishict 5l is to Encourage Excellence Everyday with Compassion, Commitment and Community." The board acknowledged the Student Council presentation; no action was required.
