The director of curriculum and instruction reviewed CPS Data Days, STAR student growth measures, Wonders Adaptive and Freckle Math implementations and an ongoing social studies and science curriculum review for the intermediate school. Mr. King, Director of Special Education, summarized special education enrollment and Tazewell-Mason County Special Services updates and noted professional development activities. Central Primary School principal Ms. Venegonia and assistant principal Amanda Rogers highlighted enrollment, safety curtain installations, new hires and vacancies, STAR testing, recent family events and recognized school nurse Jen Brown for her work on the dental clinic. Dr. Bush and Kim Martin from Central Intermediate School provided enrollment updates, schedule adjustments (Early Dismissal and SEL Wednesdays) and a discipline report.
