The Central School District #3 Board of Education approved the 2026–2027 Parent and Family Engagement Policy and district Title I plans during its regular meeting on April 15, 2026 at the Central Board Office in Camp Point.
Member Kindel Kestner moved to approve the Parent & Family Engagement Policy and President Andrew Dearwester seconded; the motion passed by unanimous voice vote. Member Nikki Buehler later moved, with Member Patrick Hasting seconding, to approve the 2026–2027 Schoolwide Title I Plans for CEC, CES and CJHS (Doc. Reg. #6111); Member Holly Veach and Member Kindel Kestner then moved and seconded approval of the Title I School-Parent Plans for the same buildings (Doc. Reg. #6112). Both Title I motions passed by unanimous voice vote.
Board members framed the approvals as routine annual actions to align district Title I programming and parent-engagement work for the coming school year. The minutes record the specific document references for each approved item (Doc. Reg. #6110–6112), and the board placed these items on the consent/regular motion calendar rather than tabling them for further discussion.
