The Central School District #3 Board of Education approved its meeting agenda and the superintendent’s consent recommendations during the Aug. 20 regular meeting in the district board office.
Member Buehler moved to approve the agenda; Member Foss seconded and the motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. The consent agenda—accepting the July 23, 2025 board minutes, the August bills (Doc. Reg. #6052) and the Treasurer’s Report (Doc. Reg. #6053)—was accepted on a motion by Member Kestner and second by Member Hasting, also by unanimous voice vote.
The board’s Finance committee placed the district’s 2025–2026 tentative budget on display (Doc. Reg. #6056). A public hearing on the tentative budget is scheduled for Sept. 24 at 5:30 p.m. during the regular board meeting. No vote to adopt the final budget was recorded; the board took the procedural step of putting the tentative budget on public display to allow for review and public comment.
