Florence hires two public-works maintenance workers in executive session

Both hires were approved to start at $18.00 per hour on Dec. 17, 2025, contingent on a successful background check and drug and alcohol testing and subject to a 90-day probationary period.
Both motions were recorded as carrying unanimously. The board returned to regular session at 7:12 p.m., and the meeting adjourned at 7:15 p.m. The minutes note that hires were made in executive session per the motion and list the recorded votes.
