Florence orders emergency sewer assessment after possible raw sewage leak in Stonebrook subdivision

Separately, after further investigation the board voted to terminate a claim filed with Mississippi Municipal Services for repairs to a home in Stonebrook and authorized the city attorney to prepare a release of liability form for the homeowner. The engineer's assessment will determine whether emergency repairs are required; funding or a repair timeline was not specified.
