Supervisor Michael Walsh told the board he observed that a homeowner at Pond 16 had installed a pool and enclosure and that construction appeared to encroach on the EDRA, causing significant bank damage. Staff agreed to monitor ongoing work and address damage with the homeowner when construction is complete, noting homeowners bear responsibility for damage caused by their projects.
District Engineer Kurt Heath will follow up on inspection dates for the area and District Manager Chuck Adams said staff will take appropriate action once work is finished. The minutes record that the matter is being tracked but no formal enforcement action was taken at the Sept. 17 meeting.
