Consent items included approval of the Feb. 23, 2026 minutes; payment of current bills; IHSA membership for SY2026; and acceptance of resignations for SRO Justin Johnson, MS volleyball coach Holly Taylor, JV scholastic bowl coach Chad Blades, bus driver Erica O’Brien, and lunchroom supervisor Ocie Duncan.
In a separate personnel action, the board voted 6–1 to approve Track and Field coaching assignments. Collin Townsend moved to approve the listed coaches and Bryan Bender seconded; the motion passed with Chris Just recorded as the lone nay. The approved assignments included Al Scheider as boys head coach and Brian Pekovitch as boys assistant coach, with several volunteer assistants noted. The board also approved a package of stipend roles for 2026–27 across high school and middle school athletics and activities on a unanimous roll call.
