The board voted to adopt a new Superintendent Evaluation process that uses the SuperEval platform and approved annual superintendent goals aligned to the district's Strategic Plan. The evaluation process and goals are intended to combine research-based indicators of effectiveness with the district's strategic objectives to evaluate superintendent performance.
The motion to approve the Superintendent Evaluation Process was made by Tiffany Watson and seconded by Steve Dlugo and passed 6–0 (Darren Spiegel absent). A subsequent motion to approve the annual superintendent goals, made by Steve Dlugo and seconded by Adam Sage, also passed 6–0. The board recorded these actions in the meeting minutes and will implement the new evaluation tool going forward.
