Center Cass SD 66 posts clean SY24-25 audit; board approves report

The Board of Education unanimously approved the SY24-25 audit after a presentation from Kyle Hendrickson of Gorenz & Associates.
Hendrickson said, "The District received a clean opinion with no findings," and added that the district's financial profile score has improved each of the last three years. Superintendent Dr. Wise thanked the board and district staff "for their commitment to restore financial health, as well as office staff for their hard work and keeping and producing accurate data."
The approval came as Action XII.A; Doug Wiley moved the motion and Darren Spiegel seconded it. The motion passed 6-0 with one member absent. The audit presentation was discussed earlier in the meeting during the communications portion and there were no audit-related findings requiring corrective action reported.
