Board accepts resignation; approves hires, contracted counselor and non‑certified compensation

After a closed-session personnel review, the Chadwick-Milledgeville CUSD 399 Board accepted the resignation of Mrs. Justina Kyger from her role as Recess Supervisor/Office Aide and approved hiring Mrs. Kris Faulkner to that position for the 2025–26 school year. The board also approved hiring Mrs. Marcie Arno as a permanent substitute teacher for 2025–26 and approved a contracted counseling agreement for Mrs. Jamie Leech. A motion to accept the resignation was made by M. Urish and seconded by T. Hackbarth; subsequent hiring and contract motions were approved by roll call or voice votes as recorded, with no nays.
The board also approved non-certified compensation as presented. These personnel actions were taken after the board convened in closed session under 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1) and reconvened in open session at 8:18 p.m. All motions recorded in the minutes show unanimous support where a roll call was required.
