The Chadwick-Milledgeville CUSD 399 Board approved updates to student handbooks on July 21, 2025. A motion by T. Hackbarth, seconded by S. Engelkens, carried by voice vote (seven ayes, no nays) to adopt the changes presented by Milledgeville Jr./Sr. Principal T. Jakse and Milledgeville Elementary Principal D. Eich.
District administrators said the handbook revisions include compliance updates, an increase to graduation requirements, changes to semester exam exemption rules, new weighted-class rules, an updated late-work policy, the addition of a family engagement policy, and other minor edits. The board recorded approval in open session; implementation will be handled by school administrators and communicated to families before the start of the school year.
