The board voted by voice (7–0) to authorize Superintendent T. Schurman to seek bids for gasoline and fuel for the 2025–26 school year. The authorization will allow district staff to solicit vendor proposals for fuel supplies and delivery for the next fiscal year.
On first reading the board reviewed PRESS Board Policy Update Issue #118. Superintendent Schurman said the update includes numerous Title IX reversions, public records language, a uniform grievance procedure, workplace harassment and bullying prevention provisions, teen dating violence prohibitions, student handbook requirements, artificial intelligence guidance, sexting policies, and an ongoing five-year policy review schedule. Board members were asked to review the update memo closely prior to a subsequent vote.
