Board authorizes superintendent to seek fuel bids; reviews PRESS policy update on first reading

Superintendent Schurman said the update includes numerous Title IX reversions, public records language, a uniform grievance procedure, workplace harassment and bullying prevention provisions, teen dating violence prohibitions, student handbook requirements, artificial intelligence guidance, sexting policies, and an ongoing five-year policy review schedule. Board members were asked to review the update memo closely prior to a subsequent vote.
