The Cerro Gordo CUSD #100 Board of Education approved its consent agenda at a Nov. 20 regular meeting, including payment of November bills totaling $1,008,520.09. Member Curran moved to approve the consent agenda and Member Miller seconded; the roll-call vote was unanimous and the motion carried.
The consent agenda covered approval of minutes from the Oct. 16 regular meeting and Oct. 23 special board meeting, financial reports, and the November bill payments. The board recorded the action as routine business during the open session; no separate discussion or amendments were recorded in the minutes.
The board’s approval of the bills occurs ahead of a Truth in Taxation hearing scheduled for Dec. 18, 2024; the board also recorded starting fund balances for fiscal tracking and transparency.
