Board approves wall-cap repair at 207 E South Street; TIF changes discussed for 209–213 South Street properties

Fehr Graham presented a $3,250 estimate from Roofs by Rodger to repair a wall cap at 207 E South Street. Trustee Walsh moved to approve contracting with Roofs by Rodger; Trustee Frydenger seconded and the motion was amended to require the work be brought "up to building code." Roll call was unanimous and the repair was authorized.
Separately, trustees discussed inspection and TIF/BD changes for neighboring properties. The board agreed the redevelopment agreement for 209 & 211 South Street should change the TIF and BD amounts from $15,000 to $30,000; no construction had started at the time of the meeting. Trustees also noted there is activity at 213 South Street and will monitor progress and inspections as needed.
