Trustee Anderson asked that the Carter Street drainage project bid packet be updated to reflect the correct prevailing wage citation (820 ILCS 130-5 to 5.1); the board added this correction to the agenda for the March 27 special meeting so staff and counsel can confirm the language.
Engineer Wyatt Schlabach told trustees the South Street sidewalk improvement plan is being expanded to include additional sidewalks, and DPW Mark Blickensderfer said the MFT scope and bid package will be ready in early summer with requests for proposals to be solicited from other engineering firms. No contracts were approved at the March 17 meeting; trustees deferred final bid approvals until the packet is complete and attorney review is done.
