President Troy Meier appointed Member Brianne Shule-Whybrew as Secretary Pro-Tem for the purposes of executive session. At 7:08 P.M. the board moved into executive session to review minutes lawfully closed under the Illinois Open Meetings Act and to discuss personnel matters, citing 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(21) and 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1). Upon roll call in executive session, all members present were recorded; Member Shule remained absent.
The board returned to open session at 7:45 P.M., approved the executive session minutes from the July 28, 2025 Regular Meeting and the Aug. 7, 2025 Special Meeting, and adjourned at 7:47 P.M. Motions to enter and exit executive session and to approve the closed minutes were made and seconded (motions recorded in minutes) and carried without dissent among members present.
