Committee member Shayne Hansen asked about upgrades to the gazebo for the small park; Mayor Chad Stevens indicated he had no new information on the gazebo at the time. The council discussed using the small park project as the eventual site for a climbing wall that had been removed from the big park.
Hansen said the city will attempt to sell a grain combine on surplus and, if it does not sell, will take it to Ards for scrap metal. The council also intends to try to sell the yellow Mack dump truck. No formal sale motions or authorizations appeared in the minutes; the discussion was planning and directional in nature.
