Chaney-Monge superintendent reports $50,000 ISBE maintenance grant, lighting plans

Superintendent Andy Siegfried told the Chaney-Monge Board on Dec. 16 that "ISBE school maintenance grant has been awarded," and that Chuck Newman finalized plans for new lighting for the district. Siegfried said the district will take bids shortly to move the lighting work forward.
Siegfried also reported the district's telecom arrangements, noting AT&T is one of the district's current providers and that the district "does not want to break contract with them if possible but still stick with Clearvoice for phone service as long as possible," per the minutes. The board record identifies the grant in a later information item with a listed amount of $50,000.
