Board approves 6% pay increases for ESP staff and assistant director for FY27

The Chaney-Monge Board of Education on April 21 approved a 6% pay increase for 12-month and 10-month Educational Support Personnel (ESP) for FY27, and separately approved the assistant director of business contract and a 6% pay increase for that position.
The motion to approve the 12-month ESP increase was made by Drew Lopez and seconded by Mason; the 10-month ESP increase was moved by Charles Methvin and seconded by Mason. The assistant director contract and pay increase motion was made by Methvin and seconded by Ramsak. Each motion passed on a 6–0 roll-call vote with one member absent. These pay actions were recorded as part of the meeting’s action items and will be built into FY27 budget planning.
