Superintendent reports building maintenance: tree, concrete slab and rooftop unit replacement; ROE inspection finds compliance

Superintendent Andy Siegfried provided facilities updates to the board on Nov. 18, saying a front-yard tree was removed and new mulch was placed by Mr. and Mrs. Lopez, that a deteriorated concrete slab at the rear of the school needs replacement (work supervised by Chuck Neuman), and that a rooftop HVAC unit was replaced.
Siegfried also reported that the Regional Office of Education (ROE) conducted an inspection earlier in the week and stated the district was "in good standing and compliance." The board was told a Fire Marshal visit is expected later in the year and a food safety inspection is scheduled in March; a SPED audit is planned for January.
