Superintendent Weidner told the board that staff technology needs had been surveyed and quotes were solicited from QNS; he signed a $2,300 quote with Heart Technology to upgrade intercom coverage and a $26,968 quote with Midwest Educational Furnishings for built-in tables in the elementary cafeteria under the School Maintenance Project Grant. BeckTech provided quotes for additional cameras and a new server for the camera system, and PSIC completed a new building appraisal for property insurance.
Weidner said Nevco discussed installation of shot clocks and the possibility of a video board for the high-school gym and that the district is exploring a multimedia class to produce content for a future display. He also reported that federal grants were amended due to slight allotment changes in Title grants, work on a Consolidation District Plan for FY26 has begun, and the amended budget process will start in April with a tentative budget in May and a final amended budget hearing on June 18.
