Principals outline testing schedule, student activities and community outreach

Principal Neaveill reported a slate of elementary activities and testing dates: IAR testing for 5th grade March 24–28; ISA testing April 9–11; PK screenings on April 16 administered by Heather Yowell and Katie Badger; and Kindergarten screenings on March 28 administered by Sarah Bone and Kelly Martina. She noted report cards were sent March 14, students meeting 3rd-quarter AR goals received a free homework pass, and PTO funded a University of Illinois "Physics Van" visit on March 12.
Principal Willard reported on junior-high and high-school activities, including Read Across America week (March 3–7), a JH student-council March Madness library promotion and a student-council "Crush Valentine Sale" that raised $400 for community donations; the Student vs. Staff game on March 6 raised $650 for The Lord's Storehouse. Willard also noted Marissa's Purpose Assembly on March 4 focused on drug prevention, Piatt County Mental Health provided outreach on March 17, and teacher evaluations and the final safety drill of the year were completed.
