Board accepts resignations of athletic director and elementary teacher

The Cerro Gordo CUSD 100 Board of Education on Feb. 19 approved resignations from two staff members effective at the end of the school year. Howell moved to accept the resignation of Diann Durbin from multiple roles (Athletic Director, ELA teacher, head high school volleyball coach, and assistant high school girls basketball coach); Freese seconded and the motion passed on a unanimous roll call.
Runyen moved to accept the resignation of Lisa Forbes as a fourth-grade elementary teacher; Miller seconded and that motion also passed unanimously. The board recorded each motion and roll call in the minutes; no replacement hires were announced during the meeting.
