The Snyder ISD Board of Trustees approved a Staff Development Waiver Aug. 14 under Texas Education Code §25.081. The waiver allows the district to provide staff training designed to improve student performance in place of up to 2,100 minutes of student instruction where operational and instructional minutes are provided.
Superintendent Bob Rauch recommended the waiver for the 2025–2026 school year and the motion to approve was made by Doug Neff and seconded by Ralph Ramon. Trustees recorded a unanimous vote in favor of the waiver.
