The Sinton Independent School District Board of Trustees on Oct. 21 approved a slate of large vendor invoices and construction pay applications tied to ongoing bond projects. Included in the consent agenda were pay applications from Bartlett Cocke General Contractors — Pay App #28 for $1,633,443.29 and Pay App #29 for $2,271,926.88 — as well as a furniture invoice from A. Bargas & Associates, LLC for $888,808.68 for the new high school.
Board Member Sam P. Lankford moved to accept the consent agenda, with Secretary Robin Brown seconding; the motion passed 6-0 with Vice President Danny Lorberau not in attendance. Other approved items listed in the packet included an architect fee invoice from Corgan Associates ($75,190.57 and another $75,190.56 for different months), a $631,480.46 property insurance renewal with McGriff Insurance Services for the new high school, and fencing work from Dinero Ventures ($179,740.71).
The approvals cover work and purchases previously authorized in earlier board actions and cooperative purchasing agreements cited in the meeting packet. The board did not add new contract awards in open session beyond the listed pay applications and invoices; these items were approved together as part of the consent agenda.
