Council approves Fire Police assistance for Dallastown events; Alliance reports engine inspection trip

Mark Holloway reported that EMA, fire and ambulance reports were submitted and that he saw no items requiring additional comment. Holloway moved, and Evan Heister seconded, to authorize Fire Police assistance for Dallastown events; the motion passed.
Scott Gingerich of Alliance advised he will be absent next month while traveling to Wisconsin to check a new engine and told council, "they cannot attend every event," noting Alliance provides support as capacity allows. Council recorded the motion and directed staff to process the assistance letters required for workers' compensation insurance purposes, as Solicitor Mike Craley later reminded the body.
