Tisbury FinCom re‑elects Nancy Gilfoy as chair; Rachel Orr named vice chair

The Tisbury Finance and Advisory Committee unanimously re‑elected Nancy Gilfoy as chair and selected Rachel Orr as vice chair at its May 20, 2026 meeting at the Tisbury Senior Center. Allan Rogers nominated Gilfoy and Alex Meleney seconded; the motion passed 6–0.
Committee members said Gilfoy plans to transition leadership next year, prompting the nomination. Rachel Orr accepted the vice chair nomination and told the committee she would continue posting FinCom agendas and minutes on the town website provided she receives training and support. The committee agreed Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM remain the most convenient regular meeting time and decided to meet once in June and once in July and to skip August, 2026 unless a Reserve Fund draw requires action.
