Highway Commissioner Nystrom updated the board on routine maintenance and recent operations. He said crews maintained culvert cut‑outs on Maxon Road and near the old Deans plant, worked on the corner of N. White Oaks Road and Perkins, seeded and watered disturbed areas, continued cemetery upkeep and replaced the springs on Truck No. 3. He said right‑of‑way mowing is completed for the season and crews placed barricades to close Route 14 and Hebron Road following an accident.
Nystrom reported small surplus sales on the Wisconsin Surplus website (three guard rails and a post plus two 55‑gallon drums) totaling $275 and said the township received $1,058 for the third quarter from recycling operations. He noted collected tires were taken to Nunda Township's county tire drive in Crystal Lake. He also reported the township received the 2024–2025 salt contract requiring delivery of 480 tons at $68.91 per ton to fulfill the contract.
