Staff outlines Vision Zero annual reports and updated dashboard; freight-plan comment reminder

Presenter (Steven) said the Vision Zero plan calls for annual reports to each MPO community to track crash trends and progress on plan recommendations. "The part of the Vision 0 plan said that we would provide reports to each community in the MPO, at annually to track progress attached to our 20 25 reports for Eudora, Baldwin, Citi, and Lawrence," Steven said, describing maps of injury-crash locations and project recommendations that will be posted once the dashboard is updated with 2025 data.
Staff noted the freight-plan interactive website is open for public input, allowing users to drop pins and describe problem areas; the board encouraged attendees to submit concerns for the statewide freight and rail plan advisory committee.
