Township Assessor John Killeen told the board that sales volume picked up in 2024 and prices continue to rise; he said he is implementing a new monthly sales-summary generated in PAMS to track trends.
Killeen reported 11 new homes under construction (two duplexes), two new foundations, and a new office building at Alumi-Tank in Bigfoot progressing toward occupancy. He said he is coordinating projected 2024 EAV and new-construction values with the school district and the City of Harvard for upcoming levies, noted two parcels purchased by MCDOT for the White Oaks Road bridge project, and said five Board of Review appeals are being scheduled for October (two hearings set for Oct. 10, three pending).
