Central CUSD 4 approves MOUs creating extracurricular positions and $3,500 behavior-intervention stipend

The board approved three Memoranda of Understanding on Sept. 22 that add extra-duty positions and a paraprofessional stipend. The first MOU creates a High School Assistant Student Council position placed at level 7 on the extra duty stipend schedule; the second creates a High School Robotics stipend placed at Level 10. Both were approved by voice vote with no dissent.
Separately, the board approved an MOU with the Laborers’ International Union of North America, Local Union 751 to create a Paraprofessional—Behavior Intervention Specialist stipend in the amount of $3,500. Member B. Koch moved that stipend MOU and Member Able seconded; the motion carried with all present voting aye and Henrichs absent. The agreements were recorded in the consent of actions and reflect negotiated changes to extra-duty compensation and paraprofessional pay structure.
