The Central Community Unit School District No. 4 Board of Education convened a special meeting on Aug. 7, 2025, in the district office gymnasium in Ashkum. Treasurer Bri Koch called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.; Board members recorded present were H. Koch, Henrichs, B. Koch and Shule-Whybrew, with Meier, Able and Shule noted absent.
Member Brianne Shule-Whybrew moved to appoint Treasurer Bri Koch as President Pro Tem for the meeting; Member Henrichs seconded and the motion passed on a recorded vote. "A motion to appoint Bri Koch as President Pro Tem for this meeting was made by Member Shule-Whybrew and seconded by Member Henrichs," the minutes record. Member Henrichs then moved to approve Brianne Shule-Whybrew as Secretary Pro Tem, a motion seconded by Member H. Koch; that motion likewise carried.
The board approved the meeting agenda as amended to add an executive session and a discussion of possible staffing solutions for a Central High School special-education vacancy. Member Henrichs moved to approve the amended agenda and Member Shule-Whybrew seconded; the minutes state the motion "passed without dissent."
