Trustee Scott Kramer moved to approve a $1,000 donation for Police Week (May 11–18, 2025); the motion passed by unanimous roll call 7–0. The Committee also approved training attendance: a "Primal Leadership" workshop on April 29, 2025, for Officer Jared Bunge (registration included with annual membership; $50 meals expense from travel line), and FBI LEEDA supervisory training Dec. 15–19, 2025 for Sergeants Jones and Strand (registration $795 each, total $1,590, transportation by police vehicle). Both training approvals passed by voice vote.
Chief Todd Stockburger also presented an ordinance-violation update and announced community events including the "Boys in Blue" breakfast on May 1 and the Cherry Bowl Cosmic Bowl on May 3.
