Trustees approve multiple Public Works hires and a promotion
Summary

Trustee Sally Hollembeak moved the board approve several personnel actions for the Public Works and Water Department: hiring Ronald Carlson as Maintenance Worker I at $22.00 per hour; hiring John Klassen as Maintenance Worker II at $27.00 per hour; and promoting Jarred Block to Maintenance Worker II at $26.00 per hour effective April 1, 2025. Trustee Neville seconded each motion and the minutes record approvals by roll call vote.
The board also approved hiring Aiden Bailey and Donovan Pearse as seasonal employees at $16.50 per hour for up to 600 hours each; Trustee Brandi Pearse abstained on the seasonal hire vote, which otherwise carried. The minutes note candidates hold CDL licenses where applicable.
