Board approves purchase of new pistols and funds officer training

The minutes record the total cost not to exceed $17,625.00 charged to line item 5375 (Capital Equipment); the motion passed by roll call vote 6-0.
The board also approved sending Patrol Officer Mike Maggio to the International Association of Chiefs of Police Technology Conference (Indianapolis, May 5–7, 2025) and Patrol Officer Ryan Fulton to the 2025 D.A.R.E. International Training Conference (Indianapolis, July 24–25, 2025), with separate registration, lodging, vehicle transport, and per-diem meal allocations recorded in the minutes. Both training motions passed by roll call vote 6-0.
