The town clerk and counsel revised the language to comply with state statute prior to the vote.
At the same meeting the board adopted the short-term rental fee schedule after a motion to approve the fee (motion language referenced ~$20.25–$20.26). A select board member said the fee schedule is "scheduled as presented to take effect immediately." Voters at the special town meeting will have the final say on the amendments; town staff agreed to post a highlighted version of the proposed amendments on the town website to help voters prepare.
