CDD approves irrigation change order for Seaside & Master Drainage Project, work to start in weeks

District Engineer Charlie Krebs presented a revised scope for the Seaside & Master Drainage Project and said MRI expects work to begin in two to three weeks. Krebs said additional ancillary costs would be incurred, including a proposal from Irrigation Concepts for $4,002.50 to repair damaged wiring and roughly $1,300 each to raise about seven to eight irrigation heads.
On a unanimous motion by Mr. Blumenthal, seconded by Mr. Schultz, the Board approved the Irrigation Concepts change order not to exceed $15,000. Staff will proceed with the change order and report back on project timing as work commences.
