Board approves template grant of drainage easement; resident says phase work has not started

District Counsel Tony Pires presented a draft template Grant of Easement for drainage from the PSGRC to the River Ridge CDD and the board agreed the template can be used repeatedly so long as each filing includes a specific sketch and legal description when brought to the agenda. The board approved the grant and directed counsel and staff to use the template for future easements.
District Engineer Charlie Krebs said he is preparing two additional drainage easements (one for Seaside II and one for the Golf Course area) and will forward them to counsel when complete. Resident Mike Rainstin told the board that as of the meeting "to date, no work has commenced" on the Phase I and Phase II Drainage Improvements for Seaside & Masters. The board noted work may be delayed until the area dries and said updates will be provided.
