Eric Long presented the fee proposal and said the buildings are in the design phase and will receive a facelift rather than demolition; the board discussed elevation certificates, the need for permitting and the timing for design and construction.
The minutes record discussion to book the $62,500 expenditure as a reimbursable up-front deferred cost to be invoiced when the CDD issues financing and to begin design and permitting (estimated 12–18 months). The board authorized the Chair to execute documents after review by District Counsel and the District Manager. "On MOTION by Mr. Blumenthal and seconded by Mr. Mountford, with all in favor, authorizing Bowman to retain the services of RG Architects, P.A., as a subconsultant under the standard Bowman terms, and authorizing the Chair to execute documents as appropriate, after review by District Counsel and the District Manager, was approved," the minutes state.
