River Ridge board appoints Keith Merrill to fill vacant Seat 1

The River Ridge Community Development District Board unanimously approved the appointment of Keith Merrill to fill the vacant Seat 1 at its Oct. 22 meeting. Chair Bob Schultz nominated Merrill and the motion was seconded by Robert Twombly; the board voted to approve the appointment.
Mrs. Adams administered the Oath of Office to Merrill and, together with District Counsel Tony Pires, reviewed required ethics training, Form 1 and Form 8B disclosure rules, the Sunshine Law and limits on public communications for board members. "Mrs. Adams, a Notary of the State of Florida and duly authorized, administered the Oath of Office to Mr. Merrill," the minutes state. The term for Seat 1 expires November 2026.
