The council approved Resolution #2026-6, entering into an intergovernmental agreement with the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) to provide planning and technical assistance on the City's Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). Chief of Staff Karen Zerante said a grant was received to pay for CMAP services and that staff and council feedback would inform the CIP.
The resolution passed unanimously among present members (Perez absent). No detailed scope or schedule was provided at the meeting beyond staff’s commitment to seek departmental and council input as the plan is formulated.
