The Sonoma Valley Hospital board announced that Delice Kalos, the board's first vice chair, has tendered her resignation after moving out of the Sonoma Valley. The chair told members the board will announce Kalos's replacement next month and decide who will chair the governance committee for the remainder of the term.
"She has moved out of the Valley Of Sonoma," the chair said in explaining the resignation. The chair described two options for the remaining four months of the vacant term: appointing someone immediately if a candidate is available or leaving the seat vacant until the term expires. The board did not take further action on the item and said it would return with a formal announcement at the next meeting.
