Long Lake approves small community contracts with Northern Forest Center, Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts and APLGRB; public comment opposed arts payment

The Board approved Resolution #11 to authorize a $1,750 contract with the Northern Forest Center to support trail mapping and forest-industry promotion, adopted Resolution #12 to authorize $1,000 to the Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts for arts and cultural services, and approved Resolution #13 to pay $500 to the Adirondack Park Local Government Review Board. All motions passed unanimously.
During public comment, Mike Farrell stated the Town should not provide Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts funding. The minutes do not record further response from Board members to that public comment.
