The resolution specifies that internet submission shall not be the sole required method of payment and directs that any contracts comply with Article Three of the State Technology Law and include identity authentication and data security measures.
The resolution requires vendors to supply a confirmation page to taxpayers with date, amount (including fees), a unique confirmation number and advice to retain the confirmation page as a receipt. The Board voted to approve the resolution by unanimous vote.
