Curriculum committee raises alignment and assessment concerns; district explores trade-class opportunities

The district's Curriculum Director noted use of Renaissance professional development and "Project Read AI" for progress monitoring and grouping students for phonics instruction; quotes for new 7th- and 8th-grade math curricula have been requested to plan future purchases. The board heard these items as part of routine committee briefing and agreed to continue to study alignment and staffing implications.
